About Sierra Pacific Farms

Sierra Pacific Farms, Inc. (SPF, Inc.) is a professional farm management firm headquartered in Temecula, California. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including grove management, grove development, harvesting, marketing, consulting, and pest management.

Founded in 1988, SPF, Inc. has grown its operations to cover San Diego, Riverside, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. We manage avocados, lemons, and other citrus fruit including Tangos, Seedless Mandarins, as well as wine grapes.

A Family Business

The company’s roots trace back to Sam McIntyre, a first-generation avocado and citrus farmer who established ProAg, Inc. in Ventura County in 1972. Sam’s son, Scott McIntyre started a unit for ProAg, Inc in Temecula which spanned Riverside and San Diego counties. In 1988 he bought that unit and formed Sierra Pacific Farms,Inc. When Sam decided to retire in 2000, Scott purchased his dad’s unit called Somis Pacific Ag Management in Ventura county, which later was merged into Sierra Pacific.

Today, Scott and Debbie McIntyre, C.E.O. and C.F.O. respectively, along with their son Hayden McIntyre, lead the company. Hayden, who began working full-time for Sierra Pacific Farms in 2017, is now the President and COO of the northern division, while Ryan Rochefort is President of Operations of our southern division. Together, they have integrated modern technologies with traditional farming practices, focusing on regenerative agriculture to enhance their farming outcomes.
